I don't know if I called the contest by the right name, but I'm sorry. I don't have enough extra time to do it. I went on vacation last week, and, I don't know...I just don't like the whole set up? lol
Girl Meets Boy And, of course, Boy meets Girl Girl Trusts Boy And Boy falls in love with her
Did they know that they would soon love each other Did she know what she was getting herself into Did she know whether or not she would soon ask herself "Is this true?" Well, the answer to that, boys and girls, I must soon tell youuu
Girl breaks down Girl has no shoulder to cry on Boy doesn't pay any attention Girl feels like The entire world has came Crashing down on her Yet, Boy, acts as if he does not mind
Woahhahohh
Did they know that they would soon love each other Did she know what she was getting herself into Did she know whether or not she would soon ask herself "Is this true?" Well, the answer to that, boys and girls, I must soon tell youuu
Control your lies Or you will soon drown in them Hold her closee Until the end Of time
You promised her that you'd never let her gooo You promised her you'd hold her 'til the end of time You promised her "you'll always be mine" Woah Everything that you said She remembers very well Everything that you told her She remembers very well Everything that you promised her She cried out loud
Hey, Boy, My name is Girl Don't Touch me Ohh, never ever again Let Me be Away from you And out of your existence, your environment
Oh I'm so sick and tired of everything: Your this Your that Especially when you said, "Hey, Girl! Your hair looks baaaaad!"
So, while I was on one of my talent MySpaces (Caliwash), I came across this girl's blog on "How to NOT get your MySpace deleted". Funny thing, I have something like that on my website, but mine's called "Tips for New Sites". Basically, everything is common sense, you know? I mean, everyone who uses the internet should (1) know how to be safe and (2) read the rules before signing up with anything. MySpace notifies its users when something in the Terms & Conditions change, as well as when something in the Privacy Policy changes. Anyway, here's a section I copied and pasted from her blog.
4. sending chain letters is illegal, both on myspace and in california. people have killed themself over chain letters, so california *and since tom lives in california where myspace was made* you can get arrested for sending chain letters. this is true. i remember when the law was approved. over 15 people killed themselfs over 1 stupuid chain letter. so if you dont want to go to jail, dont.
First of all, anything you write and plan on posting it public and not just for yourself should be spelled right. Yes, I am a "Grammar Nazi". Anyway, I responded with the comment below:
I just researched number four. Chain letters are only considered illegal if they ask for money, your location of any type, if you are required to "forward" something instead of "copy and paste"-ing it (forwarding causes you to receive a virus on your computer), and if it contains threats of any kind or danger to the person who receives it [or another]. Plus, snopes.com doesn't say anything about it. I looked it up on ask.com, goodsearch.com, google.com, and yahoo.com.
More than likely, my writing about this is going to be pointless and not very many people will read it. Then again, don't you see my point? The owner of MySpace Site Directory copied and pasted it from one site, who copied and pasted it from another. Perhaps THAT'S how the rumors start! It makes me wonder how old the person who wrote it was when they wrote it, because it doesn't appear assuring. Before you copy and paste something, or pass it on to another person, shouldn't you research it to see whether or not it really IS true?
In my opinion, that's way better than lying to the people I care about most.
